What To Expect From Me As Your Coach

I Will Respect You. I know you are great. All my clients are. I am blessed with the privilege of choosing my clients, and I enjoy each one of them. They are all growing, successful, and willing. My clients do not need me. They want me in their lives to support them in getting from where they are to where they want to be. They know the journey is easier when two people row the boat.

I Will Expect Your Best. If you are hiring me, you are probably ready to do and be your best. And if you are not doing your best, I will request that you do.

I Will Make Direct Requests.  I will make direct requests of you. A request is like a real-estate contract. You have three options. You can accept, you can negotiate for different terms (counteroffer), or you can say no (with an explanation).

I Will Give Straight Advice.  If I sense something and believe you are open to it, I will share it with you and make specific suggestions. If I am not sure, I will say so. Always use your own judgment in determining what input is best for you.

I Will Not Step Over Much. When I hear a funny tone in your voice, or hear you say something that I just cannot understand or that seems off, I will question you about it. Often, these seemingly small moments offer the opportunity to resolve issues, move through hindrances, and remove obstacles that stand in your way.

I Will Provide Field work When I Sense The Need.  I’ll suggest steps for you to take and goals for you to set when I think they’ll be helpful to you. At times I’ll work with you to develop fieldwork that seems most appropriate. At other times I’ll request that you come up with your own fieldwork. Expect lots of it! 

I Will Be Available For You.  I want to hear it all. If you have a personal problem, if are upset with something, if are just starting to realize something big, or if cannot wait to share a breakthrough, contact me. I am your coach 24 hours a day. You can call, e-mail, or fax me ANYTIME.

I Am Here To Serve You. If at any time either one of us decides to discontinue the coaching relationship, the relationship will be immediately dissolved. I am here to support, assist, mentor, guide, and encourage you. But you have the freedom to choose how you want to proceed. All decisions and actions are ultimately yours, and yours alone, to make.
